The big savings are decided at the concept stage

Substations, load increases, electromechanical installation and medium-voltage maintenance.

What we solveThe path The study's dual useQuestions

What we solve

Four problems that always arrive together

01

Load increase

Your plant grew, added a new line or is going to install generation, and the current service entrance is no longer enough. We do the study, the calculation report, the drawing updates, the CFE filing and the construction.

02

Substations

Design, supply, installation and commissioning in medium voltage — compact, pad-mounted or in an enclosure — with the appropriate protection and metering.

03

Electromechanical installation

Industrial electrical installations: raceways, switchboards, feeders, grounding system and protection, per NOM-001-SEDE.

04

Medium-voltage maintenance

Electrical testing, cleaning and equipment maintenance, with thermography and a condition report. It is the work that prevents the failure that stops the plant on a Tuesday at three in the afternoon.

The path

From the CFE grid to your loads

Every expansion touches the same chain. Knowing which link is the bottleneck is what keeps you from spending on the wrong equipment.

Simplified single-line diagramMedium-voltage service entrance
CFE GRID METERING DISCONNECTSSURGE ARRESTERS TRANSFORMER MAINSWITCHBOARD CIRCUIT 1CIRCUIT 2CIRCUIT n ON-SITE GENERATION A load increase is rarely solved by changing a single element: the bottleneck can be in the service entrance, in the transformer or in the switchboard, and the study is what points to it before you buy.

The study's dual use

If you are going to do an electrical study, do the one that serves you twice

The study you need for a load increase —short circuit, protection coordination, load flow— is the same one the Grid Code (Código de Red) requires. Doing it once and using it for both saves you a second complete survey of the installation.

01

Load increase

Calculation report and updated drawings for the CFE filing.

02

Grid Code compliance report

The same studies, with the full scope of the eight parameters.

03

Generation interconnection

The technical basis of the connection study, if solar, BESS or cogeneration is coming.

Questions

What clients ask before hiring us

How long does a load increase take?
Construction is the short part. What drives the timeline is the CFE filing and availability in the area: if the division's grid is already saturated, the answer may be that there is no capacity, and that is worth knowing before buying equipment. That is why we start with the study.
Do I have to stop the plant for the installation?
For the clearance and the final connection, yes: there is a shutdown window planned with your team, usually on a weekend or during a scheduled shutdown. The rest of the work is done with the plant running.
Do you deliver updated drawings?
Yes, and it is part of the deliverable, not an extra. An installation without an updated single-line diagram is one nobody can diagnose later — neither us nor whoever comes next.
How often does medium voltage need maintenance?
It depends on the environment and criticality, but annual thermography is the reasonable minimum in an industrial plant. Most medium-voltage failures give warning months in advance in the form of heat, if someone is looking.
When it is not for you

If your problem is that demand spikes at certain moments, upgrading the service entrance may be the expensive solution to a problem that is solved with load management or storage. It is worth measuring before contracting more capacity you will pay for every month.
