Projects
The group has spent four decades building mission-critical electrical infrastructure and cogeneration plants. Here are the projects that document it, attributed to the company that executed them — because misattributing them would be easier and less useful.
Group projects
These projects were executed by PMI and GIS Power, companies in the same group as GTO Energy CO. We say so explicitly on each one because the alternative —presenting them as our own— is the practice this site avoids.
We include them because they are evidence of the engineering capability a GTO Energy project has access to, and because in cogeneration and mission-critical infrastructure there is no way to demonstrate competence without completed work.
Executed by PMI, now GIS Power. A data center whose electricity and chilled water are produced entirely on site: heat from the engine-generator drives absorption cooling. 4.2 MW cogeneration.
Executed by the group. An industrial park designed with its own generation as a competitive advantage for its tenants, instead of depending on grid expansion.
Executed by GIS Power. 9.5 MW installed. It is the kind of scope that, by capacity, belongs to GIS Power and not to GTO Energy.
Executed by PMI and ESI over three decades, for clients in the financial, telecommunications and engineering sectors. It is the origin of the continuity discipline we apply to critical loads today.
The group's aggregate figures —total installed capacity and investment executed— are pending confirmation with their cut-off date and entity. We will not publish them until then.

By GTO Energy CO
GTO Energy CO has operated since 2019 and has its own delivered portfolio. It is not here yet for an administrative reason, not for lack of work: publication permission is requested from the client when the contract is signed, and projects that predate that practice do not have it.
So we are asking for authorization retroactively. As soon as a client grants it, the case goes up with the only things that matter: what problem the plant had, what was measured, what was done and what changed, with the corresponding unit.
In the meantime there are two alternatives that work better than a logo: we describe the technical scope to you without naming the client, and we put you on the phone with whoever agreed to give a reference.
We respect that without discussion, and the project is published anonymously or not at all. A case bearing the name of a client who did not authorize it is not worth what it costs.
The standard
The company that executed the project, with its name and the year. If PMI did it in 2012, it says PMI and it says 2012. The group adds credibility; misattribution takes it away.
It is requested when the contract is signed, not when the work is finished. If the client prefers to remain anonymous, the case is published describing the plant type and capacity, without the name.
Every published number comes from a documented measurement, with its baseline and its verification method. And superlatives —"the first to", "the largest in"— only if we can show where they come from.
That last point has cost us leaving off this site some phrases the group does publish in other materials. We prefer to review them rather than carry them along.
The best reference
A project brochure tells you who we have sold to. A diagnostic report tells you how we work, and it is much more useful for deciding.
We can share a real report with the client data removed: the full metering campaign, the adjusted baseline, the findings ranked by return and the measurement and verification plan. It is the deliverable you will receive if you hire us, and you can show it to your team before committing a single peso.
Load profile for the seven campaign days · power factor by interval, not average · harmonic distortion by order · status against the eight Grid Code (Código de Red) parameters · findings with return calculated measure by measure · M&V plan under IPMVP.
