Do not pay to find out.
Pay for what you will gain.

Investment-grade diagnostic for industrial plants. No down payment. If the study does not find a package of measures that pays back in under four years, you owe nothing.

The problemWhat investment grade means How we do itWhat you receive How it is paidQuestions

The problem

Buying equipment is not the same as solving the cost

Most plants in Mexico decide their energy investment with the CFE bill and a quote. That is enough to buy equipment, not to know whether it was the right equipment.

A solar system installed on a process with a penalized power factor and unfiltered harmonics keeps leaving money on the table every month, and the promised savings never fully reach the bill. The diagnostic reverses the order: we measure first, then we decide.

What «investment grade» means

Your numbers have to withstand the scrutiny of whoever will lend the money

It is the most rigorous level of energy audit there is. What sets it apart from a standard diagnostic is not the detail, but that its figures are financeable. Four things make it bankable.

01

Adjusted baseline

Corrected for the variables that drive your consumption — production, shifts, weather — not a yearly average.

02

Measurement and verification

Plan under the IPMVP protocol, with the option stated measure by measure.

03

Quantified uncertainty

A saving without an error band is an opinion, not a figure a committee can approve.

04

Return per measure

IRR, NPV and payback period for each measure, not a list sorted by taste.

Adjusted baseline — what it would have consumed Actual measured consumption

Savings are not the difference against last year: they are the difference against what your plant would have consumed this year at its actual production level. That distinction is what a bank checks first.

How we do it

Three phases, eight weeks, a report that stands on its own

PHASE I · WEEKS 1–3

Survey

Know what is in the facility and how it works. Without this, any impact calculation is a guess.

  • Drawings, single-line diagrams and 12 months of bills for all energy sources
  • Walkthrough and load census with power and hours of use
  • On-site measurement: power quality analyzer, thermal imaging camera, gas analyzer, light meter
PHASE II · WEEKS 3–5

Energy accounting

We rebuild your CFE bill component by component and allocate consumption across systems.

  • Off-peak, mid-peak and peak energy
  • Billable demand and power factor charge
  • Actual effect of your load profile on the tariff
  • Balance of electricity, natural gas, LP gas, diesel and biogas
PHASE III · WEEKS 5–8

Improvement measures

Each measure with its number, ranked by return. We also tell you which ones are not worth it.

  • Estimated investment, annual savings and payback period
  • IRR, NPV and sensitivity analysis
  • Measurement and verification plan per measure
  • 12–36 month roadmap

The first finding almost always appears in Phase II: plants paying for demand they do not need, or penalties that are fixed with an investment of less than one month's bill.

What you receive

A document you can take to your investment committee or your bank

It is not a sales presentation with recommendations. It is the technical and financial file of your facility, with the traceability required by whoever will put up the money.

The report is yours. You can execute it with us, with another integrator, or keep it on file.

Report contents
  1. Measured consumption profile of the facility
  2. Actual breakdown of the electricity bill by component
  3. Power quality status at critical points
  4. Energy balance by system and by area
  5. Adjusted baseline and its independent variables
  6. Costed improvement measures ranked by return
  7. Measurement and verification plan per measure
  8. Sensitivity and risk analysis
  9. 12–36 month roadmap

How it is paid

Three levels. In none of them do you pay up front.

The three conditions

You do not risk money. You risk a decision.

01

No down payment

You pay nothing in advance. The fee becomes due 90 calendar days after you accept the report.

02

100% creditable

If you contract the implementation within those 90 days, the fee is fully credited against the project price.

03

No finding, no charge

If the report does not identify a package of measures with a payback of under four years, there is no fee to pay.

Questions

What people ask us before signing

What happens if the report finds nothing profitable?
There is no fee. The condition is in the contract with an objective threshold — payback under four years — not left to our judgment. It is the only case in which we do the work without charging for it, and we accept it because in an industrial plant at medium voltage it rarely happens.
Is the report useful if I decide to implement with another company?
Yes. The report is a complete technical document, not a disguised quote. If you take it to another integrator, you will have something to compare against. In that case the fee is charged, because there was no implementation to credit it against.
How much of my staff's time does it take?
Between 6 and 10 hours spread over the eight weeks: the initial handover of documentation, accompanying us on the plant walkthrough, and a closing session to review findings. Installing the metering equipment does not interrupt operations.
Do I need to shut down the plant for the measurements?
No. Power quality analyzers are installed with current clamps on the existing conductors and thermography is done with the equipment running — in fact it has to be under load to be useful.
How is it different from a regular energy diagnostic?
A standard diagnostic delivers a list of recommendations. An investment-grade one delivers financeable figures: a baseline adjusted for independent variables, a measurement and verification plan under IPMVP, quantified uncertainty and return per measure. The difference shows when you take the document to a bank.
When it is not for you

If your plant uses less in a year of billing than the study costs, the diagnostic does not pay for itself. Start with an initial review with your bill on screen, and we will see there.

If you have already identified a single measure and just want to execute it, you do not need a full diagnostic: get it quoted directly and save the time.
