Solutions

What it includes
Substations, load increases and service upgrades, electromechanical installation, medium-voltage maintenance and live-line work
Who it applies to
Plants that need new capacity, or whose installation no longer matches the load they run
Levels
Medium and low voltage. Service entrances, substations and drawings
Live work
Maintenance without de-energizing the supply, when the process cannot stop
Timeline
1 to 18 months depending on scope
Deliverable
Completed works, updated drawings and test records

When CFE does not arrive in time, the solution is inside your fence line

Substations, load increases, service upgrades, electromechanical installation and medium-voltage maintenance, including live-line work.

The problem

The capacity your production needs cannot always be bought

When the local grid is saturated, a service upgrade stops being paperwork and becomes a date in someone else's hands. In Mexico's industrial corridors there are plants waiting for capacity that their production plan has already committed.

While that gets resolved, there is work that can be done inside the fence line: adjusting the contracted demand to what actually runs, correcting an installation that grew piece by piece without drawings, reorganizing internal distribution, or deferring the upgrade with storage.

And there is a silent cost nobody bills until it fails: the plant that paid for a substation fifteen years ago, hung three expansions on it, and today has no drawing that reflects what is installed.

The lines in this family

One accountable partner for the electrical works

From the survey and design calculations to the completed works and updated drawings. Without splitting responsibility among three contractors and a designer.

Signs it applies

Four situations that bring a plant to this family

01

It exceeds its contracted demand

If in any month your measured demand exceeded the contracted demand, you are already overpaying and are probably already at your installation's thermal limit.

02

New load committed and no capacity

A production line, a furnace or a data center that has already been bought and that the current service cannot support.

03

It has no updated drawings

The installation grew piece by piece and nobody knows for sure what is connected to what. It is the starting point for almost everything else.

04

The process cannot stop for maintenance

Some medium-voltage maintenance is done with the line energized. It is a specific capability, not a general service.

How it is verified

The survey is the first deliverable and is quoted separately. It comes with updated drawings and design calculations, and it is just as useful if someone else does the works.

How we work

Four steps, always the same

01

Advisory

On-site survey, design calculations and scope. If there are no drawings, the survey is the first deliverable and is delivered with or without the works.

02

Design and installation

Detailed engineering, supply, civil and electromechanical works, installation and testing. With a documented test protocol.

03

Permits

Handling the service upgrade or load increase with CFE, and whatever the process requires depending on the voltage level.

04

Monitoring

Updated drawings, test records and a scheduled maintenance contract. Works that leave no drawing become the problem of the next expansion.

When it is not for you

The answer is not always a new substation

We tell you at the first meeting

If your measured demand is well below the contracted demand, the first step is to adjust the contract. It requires no works and lowers the bill the following month. We tell you before quoting capacity you do not need.

If the requirement is peak capacity for a few hours a day, a battery bank can defer the upgrade for considerably less money than the upgrade itself. We compare both before recommending.

And if the scope requires a generation permit above 0.7 MW or long-term capital, it stays in-house: GIS Power, from the same group, develops it. We do the survey and the presentation, and we stay at the table.
